The 3rd sector railway, the Akita inline crossing railway, is a 94.2Km non-electrification local lines that connects Kakunodate (Akita Shinkansen connection) in the southern part of Akitaken and Takanosu (Ou main line connection) in the northern part of Akitaken. It can enjoy a rich climate in a beautiful spectacle and the mountain village of the four seasons from the car window, and it brings memories of "Birthplace of the mind" which almost forgotten.
