The author, Ben Herring, is a native New Zealander and is the assistant coach for Leicester Tigers. Ben Herring has written this book in support of the Matt Hampson Trust. In 2006, Matt Hampson, Leicester Tigers and England U21 player, was paralysed from the neck down when a scrum collapsed.
