Lunyu 論語 "The Analects of Confucius"

The Lunyu ("Theoretical Discussions") is one of the Four Books (Sishu 四書) that belong to the main corpus of Confucian writings. This book is a collection of sayings and teachings of Confucius (Kongzi 孔子; trad. 551-479 BC) himself, compiled from the notes that everyone of his disciples made according to the answers the Master gave to their questions.
