Mengzi 孟子 "The Book of Master Meng"
The Mengzi is one of the Four Books (Sishu 四書) that belong to the main corpus of Confucian writings. It is a collection of anecdotes about and teachings of Master Meng Ke 孟軻, latinized Mencius, a fourth-generation disciple of Confucius and by the anti-traditionalists called the "Second in the Confucian Shop".
