Jack the Mantis

Jack the praying mantis had just been told to leave his treehouse, and sets out on a quest to find a new home. During his journey he meets Lance the ant and Guy the fly, both of whom had lived in the same
tree. Not too interested in each other they quickly say their goodbyes. But trouble soon comes for them and they realize they can all help each other escape a dreadful fate. After the success of their survival they all become friends, and once again come to live in the same tree.
This wonderful, 40 page picture book, emphasizes the importance of making friends and being together. It shows how we all have something unique to offer and that friends can come from many different
backgrounds.
