Mushaf al-Madinah

This mushaf iPhone application has been
developed with legibility in mind. The
arabic script is clear to read both in
portrait and landscape modes.

The pages can be zoomed in to make it
even easier for people with eye-sight
problems.

The pages are exactly as printed in the
mushaf-al-Madinah (one of the layouts),
which should make it easier for people
to read and memorise from if they're
accustomed to the layout of the mushaf
from al-Madinah.

The entire application is 4.1mb in size,
so it is fine to download over a 3G
connection.

The mushaf pages are large and the print
is clear, reading from it should not
strain the eyes insha-Allah.

On the sides of the page there is a long
and thin transparent button. Pushing the
left button will navigate to the next
page and the right button will navigate
to the previous page.

There is an (i) icon on the top right
corner. This will bring up the Surah
Index page. From here, you can select
any one of the 114 suraat. You can also
type in a page number in the text-field
available and go to that page directly.

The side buttons and the (i) icon are
small and transparent so that they do
not obscure the arabic script as you
scroll up and down and move the page
from side to side.

Only one page at a time is visible.

I have not included any translation
with this release.
