Noble Discipline
Buddhist Requisite Conduct for Civilized Society
The Buddhist Discipline for householders though contains fewer codes of conduct, and is lesser known than the monastic Discipline, the essence remains the same: to provide foundations for personal development and social harmony. The universal virtue of the Discipline means that the benefits of the prescribed personal and social conduct are not limited to a particular group, but can extend to all levels of society in today’s world.
