晚清四大譴責小說是中國清末4部譴責小說的合稱：《官場現形記》、《二十年目睹之怪現狀》、《老殘遊記》、《孽海花》。 （《官场现形记》、《二十年目睹之怪现状》、《老残游记》、《孽海花》。）
《官場現形記》：作者李伯元（1867年－1907年），全書60回，由各章獨立的短篇故事集結而成。全書從中舉捐官的下層士子趙溫和佐雜小官錢典史寫起，聯綴串起清政府的州府長吏、省級藩台、欽差大臣以至軍機、中堂等形形色色的官僚，揭露他們為升官而逢迎鑽營，蒙混傾軋。
《二十年目睹之怪現狀》：是由筆名“我佛山人”的晚清吳趼人所作的長篇章回小說。全書由“死裏逃生”在市集上碰到一位大漢賣“九死一生”的筆記展開序幕。“九死一生”是這部小說的第一人稱主人翁，由於其認為在亂世中能夠僥倖活著實在是九死一生，因以此為號焉。一開始時主人翁為父奔喪，但家族的長輩與父親的友人卻覬覦他家的財產。所幸受到一位官人的幫助，並與之結交，之後便在他手下經商，遊遍中國各地，借此描寫當時亂世的總總現象，最後終於經商失敗。
《老殘遊記》：劉鶚（1857-1909）著，共20回。小說以一個搖串鈴的江湖醫生老殘（鐵英）為主人公，敘寫其在中國北方遊歷期間的見聞和活動，對清政府的腐朽黑暗，官吏的殘暴昏庸，百姓的貧困交迫等等，都有所暴露，尤其著重地對那些名為“清官”，實為酷吏的虐民行為進行了有力抨擊，表達了作者對社會、國家危亡現實的強烈憂患意識。
《孽海花》： 曾樸（1872-1935）著，35回。《孽海花》是一部既具有譴責小說、又具有歷史小說，還具有政治小說特點的長篇小說。小說寫金汮（字雯青）中狀元後在蘇州納名妓傅彩雲為妾；後奉命出使俄、德、奧、荷等國，帶傅彩雲同往；歸國後，金雯青病死北京，傅彩雲離開金家，赴上海重操舊業，改名曹夢蘭；後又到天津為妓，稱賽金花。
