Short Horror Stories

This app is a collection of 15 (now updated to 17) short horror stories. These are chillingly terrible stories - carefully selected for their length and the amount of punch they pack in spite of how short they are.

Each story takes about 10-15 minutes to read, perfect for travelling with the subway. That what I use it for personally - whenever I want to wait around somewhere and I know I will be bored, I quickly read a story.

At the moment, there are 15 stories, but I update about every 2-3 weeks with 5 more stories. So it's basically a life-time subscription to the stories you are getting. If you have suggestions for REALLY good short horror stories that are copyright free, send to joel@feathermoor.com

There are other ebook apps that have a million titles or so - this app will never have that. What is the point of having a million books - you don't have time in your life to read them all! This app is about giving you the GOOD short horror stories, so you know each one is worth reading.

Currently, the titles available are:

- The legend of sleepy hollow By Washington Irving
- The fall of the House of Usher by Edgar Allan Poe
- Rats by M. R. James
- A terrible strange bed by Wilkie Collins
- The Lost Ghost By Mark Twain (love this one, by the way, read it first!)
- My Wives Tempter by Fitzjames O'Brien (Ridiculous story, someone tell me if it's a joke or serious)
- Mr. Grays strange story by Louisa Murray
- The Hog By William Hope Hodgson (this was the most scary story I ever read when I was 16, had to add it to the collection)
- The man and the snake by Ambrose Bierce
- The mortal immortal by Mary Shelley
- The dancing partner by Jerome K. Jerome
- Draculas Guest by Bram Stoker
