Truths and Lies of Ryoma and Yataro

Sakamoto Ryoma and Iwasaki Yataro both dashed through the Bakumatsu period looking forth to Japan's positive future.

Ryoma, the assassinated, and Yataro, a businessman who greatly contributed to the modernization of Japan.

These two men are often focused in historical movies and novels, but what are their actual relations?

Both men are actually full of mysteries. Where did Yataro develop his business skills that eventually brought him money and fame? How did he gain his initial business funding? Furthermore, was Ryoma, the leader of Kaientai, really in a favorable relationship with Yataro? Why did Ryoma demand payment from Yataro?

Hiroki Takahashi, the curator of Aki City Museum of History and Folklore, located in Yataro's home town, tells us the real truths and lies of Ryoma and Yataro, that are never shown on Dramas.
