ATView3D-STL
This is a great 3D solid model STL file viewer. Even you are using ProEngineer, CATIA, SolidWorks or AutoCAD, you can easily convert your 3D model to STL format and use the App to view it. This way, you can show your model anywhere you want, no matter you are at home or traveling abroad.
STL is one of the most popular 3D data file formats. It is a de facto industry standard for transferring models between 3D programs. The file format is open and has been adopted by many other 3D graphics application vendors.
The App provides many 3D features including rotating model with finger movement, zooming in/out, changing color, switching from surface rendering mode to wireframe mode, etc. It also supports animation mode in which your model would automatically rotate. If your model contains multiple parts, you can select part individually and change its color or delete it. You can also put multiple STL files into the same scene to view them altogether. It is so easy to control it. You will love the way your model looks.
The app accepts STL files in both ASCII and binary format. 3D model files can be added to the app's document folder through iTunes, after that, just tap file open button of the app to load them. You can also use the app to open STL files you received in your email attachment. Just double tap on the STL attachment in you email or other file management apps, the STL viewer would be launched automatically.
The app also provides unique markup functions. You can easily add notes or comments and send your modification suggestion to your partners.
