Personal Salon Assistant is a standalone personal business assistant designed for salon owners, chair renters, estheticians, or other hair and nail professionals. It features the tools needed to manage your clients, appointments, color formulations, products, services, and point-of-sale. PSA requires no Internet access or desktop software for most functionality. You control everything from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch!

- Import clients from existing address book contacts.

- Double booking lets you specify an appointment with a gap to work multiple clients and make your day as efficient as possible. The most customizable double booking available.
- Multiple booking allows you to schedule multiple appointments at the same time.
- Standing appointments allow for easy creation of recurring appointments.
- Designed to flow like the iPhone's built-in calendar.
- Day (15 or 30 minute increments), week, month, and list formats let you choose your viewing style.
- Cut, copy, and paste appointments on the day and week calendar views!

* Hair Color Formulations
- Automatically calculate formula using our patented system. Includes step-by-step instructions, amount of color and developer to use, and processing time.
- Fully customizable to enter your own data or modify the generated formulas.
- Save the formulations for a client and view or edit them easily.
- 15 permanent colorlines supported including: Alfaparf, Aloxxi, Aveda, CHI, Clairol, Goldwell, Koleston, Logics, Majirel, Matrix, Paul Mitchell, Pravana, Schwarzkopf, and Vero.

* Point-of-Sale
- Checkout clients directly from your device. Accept cash, credit, gift certificates, or a partial payment from each.
- Add additional products and services to each transaction.
- Manage the purchasing and use of gift certificates.
- Manages product inventory from purchases and restocking.
- Daily closeouts keep track of how your business is running.
- Email receipts after accepting payment.
- Credit Card Processing: Process payments and credit cards right at your chair! Accept all major credit cards. Uses the Authorize.NET payment gateway. (U.S. currency only. Wi-Fi or 3G access required. May incur additional fees from processing gateway or merchant services.)
- Now offering merchant accounts through NetPay for NO signup fee! (U.S. only.)

* Products and Services
- Create your own inventory of products and services.
- Organize them into groups for easy reference.
- Services are color coded and customizable for viewing on the calendar.

* Reporting
- Formatted for view on your device.
- Formatted and emailable for larger print viewing.
- Reports include closeout history list, closeout totals (consolidated), product history, product inventory, and complete transaction history.

NOTES:
- PSA manual is now available from the support link!
- Does not currently sync with our desktop software SalonManager.
- If you would like to create or edit your Contact groups, there is a free app named "Groupy" that will do this (there are other apps too, that are not free). Be careful not to alter the "PSA Clients" group as this may have undesired effects on PSA.
