Recon Mobile

Recon Mobile allows you to submit inventory records of your iPhones to your JAMF Software Server (JSS). You can also upload iPhone Configuration Profiles to your JSS and configure your iPhones through the Recon Mobile application.

The JSS is the central server for both the Casper Suite and the Recon Suite. The Casper Suite is a client management solution designed specifically for the Mac platform, offering incredible breadth and depth for supporting Mac OS X. The Recon Suite, a subset of the Casper Suite, is a cross-platform asset management solution that gives you inventory licensing and contract management.

iPhones can be added to the inventory in your JSS by using the Recon Mobile application. They can also be added by performing normal inventory updates on any of your inventoried computers that have iPhones synced with them.

The Recon Mobile application requires one of the following products:

- Casper Suite 7.0 or later
- Recon Suite 7.0 or later

If you do not have either of these products, Recon Mobile will not function.
