Swift Voice is the easiest way to take messages on your iPhone. Excellent for quick reminders or notes to yourself. Much faster than typing.
Dead simple operation. Just launch the app and recording begins instantly. Exit the app and the message is emailed to you.
You can also have it email your spouse, secretary or anyone instead of yourself. In addition to email, files are available via iTunes file sharing feature.
