This app will help you with your inventory homework--periodic or perpetual, FIFO, LIFO, and weighted average. You input the data from your problem--beginning inventory, purchases, and sales. The app will calculate cost of goods sold and ending inventory for every method. The output provides a detailed schedule of which purchases make up the cost of goods sold and ending inventory using FIFO, LIFO, and weighted average (both perpetual and periodic record keeping).
