Circuit4
Circuit4 is a circuit analysis application for anybody interested
in Electrical Circuits. It is specially useful to first year students of Electrical Engineering or for anybody that is taking an introductory course in Circuits.
Use Circuit4 to solve for node voltages of linear circuits
containing resistors, voltage sources, current sources and operational amplifiers or OP-AMPs.
You can also solve for the node voltage equations of circuits.
Circuit4 is also great if you just like to explore Electronics on your own!
Announcement On Next Update (May 12, 2009):
We have finally released an update of Circuit4, the new version is now V1.1. This update fixes many if not all of the complains our customers have been voicing. We have made many graphics and usability improvements.
Devices are now colored and a circuit can be zoomed up to 10x for easy viewing and touching.
Additionally two new devices have been added: a dependent current source and a dependent voltage source.
Users can now solve for the voltage between any two nodes, the transfer function of a circuit and the current going through a device.
What's new
Circuit4 1.1 fixes a lot if not most of the problems people have been complaining about since it was first released. However, we are still not done so expect to see more releases following this one in the coming months.
Below are the new upgrades.
New Graphic Interface:
-Colored Circuit Devices
-New Background
-Easier to select a device
-Bigger circuit devices
-Easier to create a circuit
-Ability to zoom up to 10x
-Uses the native iPhone keyboard which means that now you have more space to draw a circuit
New Devices:
Two new devices have been added.
-Dependent Current Source
-Dependent Voltage Source
New ways to solve for a circuit:
In addition to being able to solve for all the node voltages and node equations of a circuit now you can solve for:
-The voltage between any two nodes
-The current going through any resistor
-The transfer function of the circuit
Stability:
This version of Circuit4 contains many fixes that make it more stable.
