English Word Smart is a vocabulary builder for native English speakers. Learn over 300 of the most difficult, but useful words in the English language--all with sound!
Don't just study solitary words, but learn them in context. Every vocabulary word has an example sentence--most quoted from the classics. In addition, listen to the pronunciation (American) to engage your other senses.
Features:
* 300+ words all with recordings and example sentences
* Learn words by Study Cards, Flashcards, or by an interactive quiz
* Each entry is written out using the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA)
* Add any word to your "Study Bank" to create your own categories or email word lists
* Search all words
* Hit Random to view a random word
* A settings page that turns on or off the Auto sound and IPA Pronunciation
* Multitask
* iPhone 4 Retina graphics updated
* Spaced repetition added--mark each word as Mastered, Familiar, or Unfamiliar and unfamiliar words will appear more frequently
* Set order of cards by Random, Spaced Repetition, or Normal
* Set the number of questions in the Quiz
* Auto - set to have the app automatically change to the next word after X number of seconds
