iChemistry: Chemical Equation Balancer and Stoichiometry Calculator
NOTE: An incompatibility with iOS 4.2.1 has made it impossible to enter subscripts with parentheses as well as causes random crashes. I have a fix in the works (along with a bunch of other improvements) but it isn't quite ready. I have, unfortunately, been quite busy with college, and I have not had as much time as I would like to finalize this fix. Rest assured, however, that it is being fixed, and that a new fix will be out soon. Additionally, if people could refrain from the 1-star ratings until the fix comes out, I would really appreciate it. I really am trying.
Do you have a complex chemical equation to balance? Do you need to know how much hydrogen gas you can produce from electrolyzing 195.24g of water?
In either situation, iChemistry can help. iChemistry is an easy-to-use chemistry application for both the iPhone and the iPod Touch that simplifies the process of balancing chemical equations and determining the amount of each chemical that is consumed/produced in a reaction.
Features:
- Easy to input equations, simply tap them out on a periodic table.
- No need to know the chemical symbols.
- Supports parentheses.
- Mass calculator supports grams, liters and moles.
- Answers use correct significant figures.
