ISS Visibility HD
ISS Visibility HD is an iPad app that displays 10 day predictions for when the International Space Station will be visible for any location. It can display a chart of the whole sky, or a more detailed chart showing the path of the space station across the sky.
Unlike most other satellites, the International Space Station is bright enough to be seen even under bright city lights. It's very easy to spot when you know where to look for it. This app will have you looking in the right direction.
In addition to the existing features of our popular iPhone app, we've added current position and orbit height charts.
What's new
Due to changes that are being made to the Heavens-Above.com website, we've updated ISS Visibility HD to make it compatible with the changes, as well as to reduce the load that we place on their servers.
- ISS Predictions are now limited to the next 10 days instead of up to 30 days.
Please keep in mind that there are times when the ISS will not be visible for 10 days or more. This is often followed by days where the ISS can be seen several times on the same day.
- Charts are no longer automatically downloaded for all passes.
All charts that are viewed while online are saved to the device, and will be available when offline.
