Kaelee's FunCards
We tried many other flashcards with our gal but found that she loses interest after a while. We found that personalising the flashcards was most effective, and this feature was lacking in the other flashcards. So we created this app for Kaelee, our little princess. We had lots of fun with it. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
We find this a practical tool to teach and stimulate learning. It does a great job of keeping our gal occupied and learn at the same time, especially with the option to personalise the flashcards using our own voice & photos!
FEATURES:
- Suitable for toddlers from 6 months to pre-school.
- Personalisation by recording your own voice (our gal repeats after our voices rather than the default voice, maybe because its more familiar to her)
- Personalisation by replacing the card's picture with your own existing picture or take a picture on the spot with the iPhone camera! (we find this especially useful for our gal to relate the words to her favorite things like a teddy bear she hugs to bed..etc)
- Includes more than a hundred hand-drawn flash cards, each containing words (English & Mandarin), picture/drawing and voice readout
- 9 categories (Alphabets, Numbers, Animals, Clothing, Objects, Fruits, Shapes, Colors, Favorite)
- We created a Favorite Category so that it allows our gal to browse through all her favorite cards at one go
- Settings to enable/disable mandarin labels
Next version (free upgrade):
- Include mandarin Voice readout
