Kana LS Touch (writing Katakana & Hiragana)

Kana LS Touch is a program for iPhone/iPod Touch & iPad for learning Hiragana and Katakana. LS stands for Learning Software. It utilizes the unique touch interface to intuitively teach you how to draw the Hiragana and Katakana characters by displaying strokeorder guidelines.

KANA:
- all Hiragana and Katakana Characters including:
- Basic Kana (e.g: a, ko, me, chi)
- Dakuten and Handakuten Kana (e.g: ga, ze, bi, po)
- Yōon Kana (e.g.: gyo, chu, byo, pyo)
- Strokeorder guidelines for all Kanas
- about 360 sample words (all words have japanese, romaji, english & german translation)
- numerous ways to select the kana you want to train:
- All Hiragana, all Katakana or both together
- custom selection (kana selected via kanji browser)
- Range of kana (e.g. kana 10 till kana 30)
- x kana with the lowest success rate

TEST:
- 2 Testmodes:
- Direct Input (drawing or keyboard)
- Multiple Choice
- 3 Testtypes:
- Romaji --> Kana
- Kana --> Romaji
- Word --> missing Kana (multiple choice test only)

KANA BROWSER:
- list of all Kana
- search for kana by kana or romaji
- select specific kanji for a custom selection you want to train

MISC
- iOS 4 Multitasking support
- Practice mode (for learning how to draw the Kanji)
- practice and testing with 2 fonts (HANDWRITING FONT & system font)
- application fully localized in English, German
