A collection of German license tag city and country odes

The application “Kennzeichen” contains all current and even the expired license tag city and international country codes that are used in the Federal Republic of Germany. When you are traveling and would like to know where a car with a certain license tag city code actually comes from you can simply look into this app.

The app contains the attributions of city codes to the corresponding city or county names. A small map will be shown, where you can locate the city or county that corresponds to the chosen code. The official emblems of cities and counties are included as well. Last but not least information about the code expiration date (if the code is no longer in use) is shown.

Another database contains all shortcuts for international countries, which are used in traffic signs. These may deviate from the official ISO standard country shortcuts.

The application is currently available in german language only!
