Modigliani Sculptor

We invite you to admire a selection of works from the "Modigliani Sculptor" exhibition, produced by "Mart, Museo di Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto", and open from 18 December, 2010 to 27 March, 2011 in Rovereto, Italy.

This unrepeatable event brings together no less than eight sculptures by the great artist, which have never been seen together. In this application, you can admire them all. Next to each work is available a comparison with creations of other great artists of the past, from distant traditions such as Oriental and African art and by such great artists as Picasso and Brancusi, who shared the era of artistic renewal with Amedeo Modigliani in Paris in the 1910s.

Alongside the images, there are is explanatory text that help to explain the various facets of this exhibition. These descriptions have been selected from the exhibition catalogue and offer a totally new analysis of Modigliani's sculptures. We hope you enjoy the tour!
