A great way to learn about biodiversity.

The iPhone app is a preview tie-in with the TV documentary series “Life Force”.

Our planet is rich in biodiversity, but a number of regions are in crisis as many species in them are in danger of extinction. There are 34 of these regions around the world. They’re known as biodiversity hotspots.

This iPhone app lets users view videos and photos of rare fauna and flora in the world’s biodiversity hotspots.

[Key Features]
• A series of TV mini programs called “Hotspots: Earth’s Last Edens”
• Over 500 photos of animals, insects, and plants in biodiversity hotspots
• A Fun feature that shows photos of animals in hotspots based on the colors in photos taken by the user
• A guide to the 34 hotspots around the world

What's new

The main menu has been updated along with the world map, through which users are now able to journey around the 34 biodiversity hotspot regions.

■New Features
・An original photo frame, with which users can take a photo of themselves with animals from the biodiversity hotspot regions.
・“Hotspot Cards,” which let users learn about the special features of each biodiversity hotspot region through numbers.
・A function for receiving general information from the program.
※The features of the version 1.0 camera have been newly transformed into the original photo frame.
