NIE Well Said
The NIE Well Said provides a mobile platform for students to improve their pronunciation. The speaker in this app uses standard Singaporean English and the context of the sentences used is Singaporean.
List of known issues:
- If you use the front-camera feature for "Watch the video" feature, and then attempt to use the camera again for "Watch the animation" feature (and vice-versa), the rear-camera will be triggered once. Simply close the window and tap the camera icon again to bring up the front-camera view.
- Due to some on-going server issues, you may experience hisses or truncated audio recordings that you have uploaded. This applies for both the “Share” and “Upload custom recordings” functions. Simply try to download the audio recordings again a few minutes later.
- If you record more than half a minute’s worth of audio, the server may reject your uploaded audio as the file size is too large. Please restrict your recordings to 30 seconds or less.
- “&” char cannot be used in the comments for uploaded audio.
- Comments text overlap other comments if more than 3 lines long.
