If you ever opened a dictionary before you'll see a world full of words that you have never seen before. And in the bigger ones, every time after the main word something odd with a lot of symbols.
Those things are called phonemic symbols or phonetic sounds, it tells you the correct pronunciation to the main word. This is especially useful in bilingual dictionaries. Like the hardest thing to learn when trying to master a new language is the pronunciation. Those symbols help you to do it.
And the Phonetic speech app is the perfect tool for helping you out in this situation.

When the app is launched you'll see a layout of all the sounds used in the phonetics world, it's like an alphabet...an alphabet of sounds.
On the upper left side all the consonants sounds.
On the upper right side all the vowels sounds.
On the lower right side all the diphthongs sounds.
All you have to do is press the matching symbols in the dictionary for the word you that you want to learn.
Try this and be amazed of how easy this is.
