Podictionary is the podcast for word lovers. Every day you’ll hear the surprising history of a word you thought you already knew. Podictionary was one of the first podcasts, predating Apple’s inclusion of podcasts in the iTunes Store.
Podictionary has more than 1000 episodes in inventory, all still available to listen to and comment on. Charles Hodgson, the creator of podictionary also has several fun books available looking into, for example, the history of the words we use for the human body; the history of our language; and the history of words to do with wine.
