REM4 Mobile Command™
REM4 Mobile Command™ is an innovative emergency management application that allows REM4™ users to carry response phase activities from their Emergency Operating Plan on an iTouch or iPhone™. Imagine being notified of a crisis and being able to respond quickly and effectively with all the needed information at hand. The REM4 Mobile Command™ program synchronizes your phone with your REM4 Online Command System™ Crisis Plan to provide you with specific instructions on how to respond to any emergency situation. Best of all, you’ll have access even when phone service and Internet connectivity fail. And emergency responders can be given the same information you have so that everyone works from the same vantage point to save lives and property.
REM4ed™, an acronym for Readiness and Emergency Management for Educators, specializes in helping schools best respond to crises by leveraging technology. We do this by placing emergency operating plans online with our web-based Online Command Program so that emergency operating plans can be accessed and updated easily. The REM4ed Mobile Command™ application is an extension of the REM4ed Online Crisis Planning tool.
Families trust schools to keep their children safe during the day, yet, at some point in time, every school district will be touched either directly or indirectly by an emergency or crisis. Are you ready? With REM4ed™, teachers and administrators know their roles and responsibilities in preventing, preparing for, responding to, and recovering from any crisis. With the Mobile Command™ application, response phase information can be at your fingertips when a crisis strikes and every minute counts.

In this post-911, post-Katrina age, we maintain control if we commit to ongoing planning and preparedness for any crisis. For non-educators, follow our progress as we create additional emergency applications. For example, we currently are working on a consumer version so that every household can have access to precautions and actions that can prevent or reduce loss during an emergency.
REM4ed account holders need only to log into the application with their REM4ed system credentials and have access to a wi-fi or internet connection for the application to synchronize with the district and school emergency operating plan.
