Roger the Scapegoat
Roger the Scapegoat
By Karen Kwok and Wing Kwok
This is a story about decisions and responsibilities. The reader follows Roger through a day on the peaceful farm, but the story can take different turns of events based on Roger's decisions. In a world full of complicated situations, the simplicity of Roger's experience reminds us that the journey is important, and the end is a lesson we all have to learn eventually. It may be a refreshing look at how dealing with decisions and responsibilities can make us happier. Still, young readers will love Roger's friendly experience on the farm.
*Roger the Scapegoat is a Creative Story project by Appfluence to study how iOS applications can be used to enhance a story reading experience. The story was specially crafted for a decision based reading environment where kids interact closely with their parents or teachers. The interface is designed to stay out of the way of the story telling experience while encouraging creative discussion about story progression.*
