Runenstein
Runenstein is the beautiful way to learn the Germanic Runes. All you have to do is choose a rune-set, and you're on your way!
Currently, Runenstein includes five rune-sets:
- The Elder Fuþark
- The Younger Fuþark: Long-Branch
- The Younger Fuþark: Short-Twig
- Medieval Scandinavian
- The Anglo-Saxon Fuþorc
Runenstein is simply arranged like a deck of cards: on the front is the rune-symbol, and on the back is its name, its meaning and a verse from one of the rune-poems in either Anglo-Saxon or Old Norse (depending upon the set). You can go back and forward in the set by swiping, or tapping the back and forward buttons below the card; alternatively, tap "index" to see all of the set's runes right in front of you, so that you can jump to the one you want.
