The app was designed by educational psychology Ph.D.s, statistics teachers, and software experts. Many of us learned stats the traditional, boring way – through books and lectures. We always wanted more interactive, visual, and engaging ways to learn stats. Statistics has many abstract concepts so we use real-world examples to anchor your understanding.

What's new

- Addressed customer feedback by extensively revising Lesson and Quiz content
- increased the number of worked examples throughout the app
- increased sections on general statistical concepts (i.e., sampling methods, experimental designs), binomial probability distributions, bivariate and univariate data representations, correlation, measures of variability
- increased the number of lesson quiz questions to cover the new/expanded lesson content.

- The quiz assessment system should now be more visible. Tap "Report Card" from the quiz menu to see your current progress in the quizzes
- The sides of lesson pages should no longer get cut off when rotating to landscape
- Lessons, Glossary, Formula, Flashcards and Standard Deviation Calculator now all lay out their user interfaces the same way in Landscape as they do in portrait. This means no more sidebar, but the content area is bigger.
- Quiz scores are now saved immediately whenever a quiz answer is saved.
- After finishing a quiz, when the Quiz Review page appears, tapping on one of the question buttons will display that particular question. Previously, questions displayed this way were not appearing with the correct text styling. This has been corrected.
- Text in most tabular views is now allowed to wrap within table cells. Thus entries previously cut off and ending in ellipsis are now fully readable.
- New logo for launch screen
- Updated app icon
- Updated About Us content
- Fixed typo in 'share' email content
- SD Calculator calculation is now properly refreshed when variance is edited
- SD Calculator point examination (activated with the targeting reticule button) now displays the proper values when a non-zero mean is used
- improved page-turning animations for lessons, glossary and formulas
- fixed issue which caused the page-turning animation for glossary and formula entries to stutter
- The app generally supports multiple orientations (portrait/landscape) much better throughout the app
- fixed a typo in the "Share this app" email template
- Fixed minor animation glitch when flipping over flashcards
