The History Center in Tompkins County's educational programs use the resources of the past to illuminate the present and to examine national history through a local lens.

The THC 14850 app supports your connection to local history by keeping you in touch with The History Center’s events, contact information, the center's hours and includes a live interactive Google map of the center and the Eight Square School house. The app also makes the center's online photo gallery (Photos of Yesteryear) available, allowing you to browse the photo galleries and view enlargements.

Features:

• View the center's contact information, place a phone call to the center, send the center an email, or directly access the center's website. The center's hours and mission are just a click away. Use the interactive Google map to locate the main History Center offices and the Eight Square School house. Zoom in and out and click the location pin for addresses.

• View date, time, and thumbnail image of the center's events. Click on any event for a brief description of the event, or go directly to the full event on the center's web site.

• The History Center's Photo Archives are available for purchase via the center's website. Now the photos are also available (view only) via the THC 14850 iPhone app. View the individual photo galleries and select individual photos to enlarge.

• And finally, choose and set your favorite THC 14850 home screen color: Cool Blue, Sepia, or Newsprint.
