Vintage Fire Engines
The Vintage Fire Museum of New Albany, holds one of the largest collections of fire fighting apparatuses and equipment in the nation. This collection contains equipment dating all the way back to 1756. Starting with hand pumped engines and progressing through steam and chemical engines and ending with the engines that paved the way for our engines of today.
This tour will show you the first hand pump, and first chemical steam engine. With other models from the Mayfield pumper to the Ottawa steam engine. This tour even includes the immaculate Ahrens-Fox.
Anyone with an interest or passion in vintage fire equipment and apparatuses would defiantly enjoy this app.
