60's Slang Dictionary

This application for the iPhone and iPod Touch is a Dictionary of 60's Slang. In the early 60's, as today, the young people had a different lingo and it, as today, drove our parents nuts. These are slang words that were used in the sixties. The keyword here is "used" as some of these words came from an earlier era. Also these words are words used all around the U.S.

With this application kids can understand what there parents are talking about when they are trying to act cool. It is also great for adults providing a great feeling of nostalgia. It is also neat to see which words survived over the decades and are still used by kids today.

We have created a calendar based application with a powerful search engine. Just open up the application and it will give you a different word for every day. There are hundreds of these old Slang words. If you want to find a specific type or list of words then use the keyword search. this application is easy to use and very intuitive.
