Button

Button is the world's first passive game, intended to be played alongside your other activities. Having a hard time finishing those TPS reports because you'd rather be leveling up? Button. Bus ride lasting forever? Button. Just want to feel productive while you've got a few minutes of downtime? Button!

The concept is simple: When the Button lights up, press it. You'll instantly capture the energy (called a "Button Thermal Unit", or BTU) that powers the Button, adding it toward your running score. Sometimes the color of the Button changes, and pressing it will give you more BTU. All of the Buttons around the world are tied together; when one Button lights up blue, everyone's Button lights up blue.

Unlike most games, Button isn't intended as a distraction from real life; in fact, Button might just help keep you focused. By giving your brain that little tickle of stimulation it needs every once in a while, you'll keep your mind on your work and your eyes off the wall.

HIGHSCORES

Who gathered the most BTU this week? How do you rank up against the all time best? Your BTU count (Score) is tracked and ranked in real time as you play, so you can gauge how well you're doing.

ITEMS

From time to time, special buttons will appear. Rather than earning you BTU, you might earn a new item! These items can just be virtual objects to show off to your friends, or they might unlock a new feature. You never know when the item buttons might come - but if you miss it, they're gone!

GROUPS

Want to prove to the world that your favorite imageboard is the best? Do you and your colleagues want to dominate the scoreboards? Start a group. Whenever you earn BTU while in a group, those units are counted toward the groups collective total in addition to your own. The bigger your group, the faster you can gather BTU. The faster you gather the BTU, the higher you'll rank.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Tucked away deep inside Button are a number of things to discover as you play. For different landmarks and accomplishments, you'll receive Achievements. We add new achievements with every build. Try to be the first person in the world to discover a new one, then tell all your closest buddies how to get it. Better yet, keep it a secret and keep them guessing.
