The digital and professionally created sounds make "Call-U-Later" a must-have! The sounds were made by "Foley" artists and professional Hollywood sound engineers. No cheesy, home-made, public domain sounds here. The sound effects are also specially optimized for playback over a telephone line.
Simply follow these steps:
1. Turn off mute on your iPhone/iPod Touch if necessary (volume automatically goes up for you)
2. Tap "speaker" on the iPhone during your conversation (headphones will not work) or use the built in speaker on the iPod Touch and use with any phone
3. Press the home button, launch "Call-U-Later", then tap one of the six sound icons (or shake your device!)
4. Say "Call-U-Later!"
We use only simple and effective excuses - a dropped cell phone, a glass breaking, a door bell, a baby crying, a fire and rescue truck going by, and a frantic knocking at the door. Nothing but a clean, one touch interface. Simply touch the icon and the sound plays.
Users can even "shake" the device for an instant sound of your choice or random sound - no touching or looking required!
Remember for this to work, you MUST turn off mute and use the speakerphone. Version 2.2 software required. Any iPhone or 2nd generation or higher iPod touch is required (just hold up to any phone). NOT RECOMMENDED FOR iPHONE 4 USERS DUE TO NEW NOISE CANCELLATION TECHNOLOGY IN THE PHONE.
