"Clouds" Iphone application is based on the online art piece "WhyWasHeSad.com" by contemporary artist Rafaël Rozendaal. Rafaël Rozendaal is a pioneer of Single Serving Websites and now offers his first work for the Iphone and Ipod Touch.
The clouds app offers simple yet entertaining interactivity: clouds pass by infinitely and calm music loops in the background. Touch the clouds and they disappear, only to find out there are always more clouds than you can pop. There is no score, no winning or losing, just touching clouds or letting them pass by. Simple and addictive.
"WhyWasHeSad.com" has received more than 2.3 million visits in the last 12 months, and has been featured in numerous art shows and publications including The Venice Biennial, the Bienale de Valencia,The MOCA museum in Taiwan amongst others.
