Do I Snore?

This app listens for those tell-tale signs and records the top three snores each time the app is run. You can listen to these back in the morning.
You can set the app to begin listening straight away, or use the built-in timer function to start taking recordings between certain hours.
The app continues to run if the sleep button is pressed and will run for approximately 9-10 hours on the phone's battery. To extend this period, the phone should be plugged in to charge while in use.
How does it work?
To start with, we record almost any three clips, but as time goes on, we replace them with any clips we think sound "better".
We're analysing the audio waveform to detect the sound of snoring, mainly using repetition of long sounds or long silences, but also specific tones. We also take into account the loudness of the audio overall. Combining all these gives a score for the level of snore. If the average score beats an existing recording, we replace it with the new one, so you'll hear your worst snores in the morning!
