The Origins of PingPing In 37 B.C., the generals of the ancient Korea dynasty used to play Asian checkers before going to war by pushing the pucks (checker pieces) off the table in order to receive the blessing of the gods. The winning warrior of the game will have the honor of cutting off the enemy's head. The meaning of PingPing has religious roots, so warriors should perform a sacrificial rite before playing the game.
