Rock Oz'Arènes
About 2000 years ago, Avenches (called Aventicum back then) was the Roman capital of Switzerland. Since then, musicians have replaced gladiators in its stunning amphitheatre. For over eighteen years now, this unique site rumbles with the applause of the 30'000 music lovers who gather each year to the Rock Oz'Arènes festival.
Radiohead, Massive Attack, Green Day, Calexico, Placebo, The Offspring, Simply Red, Faithless, Joe Cocker, Muse, Deep Purple, Nine Inch Nails, Marylin Manson, The Cure, Natalie Imbruglia, Franz Ferdinand, Soulfly, Serj Tankian, The Roots, Roger Hodgson, Zucchero are among the artists who enchanted thousand of fans during the previous edition of the Rock Oz'Arènes.
