SoundSearch 60,000+ Ringtones, Sound FX & Sounds
SoundSearch gives you instant access to tens of thousands of sounds, sound effects and noises at freesound.org!
RINGTONES ARE NOW AVAILABLE! Request any freesound.org sound to be emailed to you as a ringtone.
Search the freesound.org sound database and listen to any sound, or add them to your favorites to easily play them at any time. Record your own sounds, and optionally submit them to freesound to make them available to all users of SoundSearch or freesound.org.
Over 300 sounds come "pre-marked" as favorites to get you started!
Examples of some default favorite sounds include: barking dog, meowing cat, rooster crowing, sheep, pig squealing, donkey braying, cow mooing, frog croaking, car horn, car alarm, bells, baby crying, baby cooing, bottle breaking, gong, train whistle, sonar ping, squeaky door, whip crack, alarm clock, burps, belch, fart, farts, crickets, explosions, velcro, cowbell, drums, guitar, xylophone, phone ring tones, wind chimes, zipper, various sirens, screams, and even fireworks!

NOTES:
This application requires you to create a free account at http://freesound.org. While you can sign up for freesound.org directly from your device, it may be easiest to register directly from a computer. YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL FROM FREESOUND.ORG and MUST CLICK THE ACTIVATION LINK before your account will be activated.
ATTENTION @YAHOO.COM EMAIL USERS - For some reason, the activation email from freesound.org is marked as SPAM by Yahoo. Before signing up for freesound.org, please check your yahoo.com email settings and make sure that it *IS NOT* set to automatically delete spam emails.
In order to submit a sound to freesound.org, you must agree to license the sound under the Creative Commons Sampling Plus license.
The first time you play a sound, it is automatically downloaded from freesound.org. The speed of this will depend on your internet connection, but generally takes only a few seconds. After a sound has been played once, it will always play instantly.
Ring tones must be loaded into iTunes and then synced to the phone. You cannot load them directly from the phone!
If you have a fast internet connection, you can increase the number of search results that are returned by going to Settings->SoundSearch on your device and increasing the maximum sound length to 1 minute.
What's new
Over 300 "pre-marked" favorites are now included.
Increased the maximum sound length for search results to 90 seconds.
The login and sign-up screen can now be skipped in order to access just favorites and recordings.
