Have you ever wondered why science hasn’t reached your iPhone so far? This application has been developed at Technische Universität München to perform experimental research with the iPhone. It will open up many new possibilities for researchers:
· It focuses on academic research and therefore, it is free from any ads and exempt from any charges.

· Furthermore, that app has been designed to in a very neutral way to avoid any adulterant influences on the participants. Therefore, the standard of the generated data is going to be high.

· Researchers have a lot of freedom arranging the experimental set-up on the iPhone. They may set up very complex experiments and ask questions several times a day over a specific period. It is also possible to exclude, e.g. weekends.

· Every time there is a new set of questions available the participants’ attention is going to be drawn to the app via push notification.

The subscribers will receive questions in regards to economic decisions, risk taking, behavior, emotions and other fields of research. Their answers will be analyzed in an anonymous and aggregated way. It is not possible to relate from the results back to the individual answers. Therefore, participants are able to provide honest and direct answers to the scientific questions.
Scientific experiments with mobile communication devices such as the iPhone are a new field of research. Traditionally, experiments have been executed in stationary laboratories. Bringing the experiment mobile to the location of the participant allows new types of experiments, questions and criteria to be analyzed.
