TapExpense is a fast and straightforward expense tracker. You open the app, enter the income and expense entries, and that's all you need to do. Then you can see the reports or export the data.
We have a screencast showing you the major features of the app at our web site linked below (or visit http://lithoglyph.com/tapexpense). Take a look and see how it can work for you.
This is an app designed for both daily personal bookkeeping and business trip expense tracking. If you do international travel often, it also comes with nifty multi-currency and conversion support.
Major features:
- Fast, easy entry of income and expense records
- Customizable categories, payment instruments (methods), groups (trips), income sources, and vendors (payees)
- Concise summary report of different types
- Multi-currency support
- Currency conversion in report
- Exporting data as an Microsoft Excel® spreadsheet file or CSV-formatted email
- Pie chart in landscape mode
- Passcode lock
This is a lite version. It is fully functional. When it lists, reports or exports entries, it uses the latest 7 entries in the given date range. You can create as many entries as you like.
A paid version is also available. Data stored on the Lite version can be fully transferred to the paid version.
NOTE: If you are using App Store US, you might find there's a one-star bad review for us. We are sorry for such confusion. To clarify: TapExpense's decimal point always works with any locale, *if* the chosen currency uses cents! For example, with USD, which is the default, decimal point will always work. On the other hand, New Taiwan Dollar doesn't use cents, so naturally the decimal point won't work.
There was a bug with the currency converter when in European locale, and it's fixed. We regret that we never heard from the reviewer on the issues s/he had run into (presumably the person was using the chance to promote their app though). At any rate, if you run into any problem, let us know, and if it's confirmed a bug, we'll do our part as a software developer to fix it.
Fixes a crashing bug in 2.6. Data integrity issue related to the bug is also fixed in this version.
