Trenddaddy
Trenddaddy is a utility for analyzing stocks with a typical "trend following" method. Trend Following is a long-term investment strategy that monitors moving averages and deviations to determine when a trend upward or downward reverses direction, which indicates a possible chance to but or short a stock.
Trenddaddy allows you to enter a stock symbol to evaluate, retrieve historical closing prices for that stock, and automatically analyze suggested movement days based upon your configurable long window simple moving average, short window moving average, and exit tolerance for gain/loss.
Trenddaddy is not intended for use as a sole decision tool for financial actions, and no guarantees are made about performance. One significant feature of Trend Following that should be noted is the existence of losses as well as gains. Stock purchases should be based upon a thorough evaluation of a company's portfolio and financial report.
