Forget reading about swine flu pandemics or economic collapse, swap the newspaper crossword or sudoku for AlphaBlox, the game where you get to make words out of tiles.
Slide the falling letters into place to form proper (and occasional not-so-proper) English words in this challenging, exciting and addictive puzzle game.
Swipe left or right on the screen to guide the letters, watching out for bombs and rubber tiles which will drive you nuts in your quest to make the longest, highest scoring word.
Play for as long as you can bear, put it away when you like, take it out during your daily commute... AlphaBlox will start off right where you left it, making it ideal for those empty moments - now you can fill them with a word or two!

AlphaBlox is easy to get going, if you see it in action you'll want to have a go. Be amazed at some of the three letter words and phrases you can make by simply dropping, sliding and nudging characters into place. With the entire alphabet dropping into place, you'll have to find some advance tactics to find ways of making longer and longer words!

• Added timed game-play mode for additional challenges. You can now play for 5 minutes, 10 minutes, or indefinitely.
• Added swipe-down gesture to make tiles fall quicker (ie. less waiting)
• New tiles now appear sooner (ie. even less waiting)
• Add tiles to already formed words before they vanish to gain extra points
• Added current game statistics to Best Games Played results (appears in brackets)
• Fixed bug where the same word could appear twice in Best Words Ever results
• Improved graphics and customised alert messages
• Best word and high score messages now appear in-game
• Improved dictionary - reduced the number of silly three letter words
