Go is an ancient board game, originating in China over 2,500 years ago. The basic rules are simple, but Go is known for its deep level of strategy.

Go is played by two players on a 9x9, 13x13, or 19x19 board. Players alternate turns, placing black and white stones on the board. The goal of Go is to capture enemy pieces by surrounding them - removing all open spots around the enemy pieces. The game continus until both players pass their term. The game then calculates the final scores of both players.

Ancient Go supports the three most common board sized - 9x9, 13x13, and 19x19. The basic gameplay does not vary with the board size.
