A puzzle game app for kids age 8 to 108, by Night & Day Studios.

The whimsical, learn-to-draw illustrations of Ed Emberley come to life with this quirky puzzle game. See the picture, study its layout, then shake your iPhone or iPod touch and the pieces will fall to the floor. Listen to vintage loops as you race against the clock to put the picture back together in under a minute. Can’t remember where something goes? Press the “Hint” button for another peek at the image—but you’ll lose five seconds off the clock. After you solve two puzzles in a set, more difficult sets will unlock, opening up even more challenges and fun!

Night & Day Studios collaborated with well known author and children’s book illustrator Ed Emberley, who has been enticing kids and adults for decades, with his classic Drawing Book series, Make a World, Funprints, and Picture Pie. His stylized approach to drawing, and mission to teach everyone that they can learn to draw, has captured loyal fans and inspired creativity for decades. A Caldecott Award winner, Ed Emberley makes his first venture into interactive mobile entertainment with Shake & Make. While this is first and foremost a puzzle game, through the game-play kids (and grownups) will learn about the fundamentals of creating art and will -hopefully- be inspired to create their own drawings!

- Solve puzzles in 60 seconds, earn a higher score the faster you solve
- Unlock higher levels with more complex images
- Try Twirly mode for extra silliness!
- Cool, retro music from the 70s
- For younger kids: turn off the timer to allow more time to figure out the puzzle, or try solving the puzzle by tilting and rotating the phone and watch each piece snap into place.
