Flip Cards Plus is an educational and fun app any child will have hours of fun playing and learning. This is a must for any parent to keep in their iPhone or iPod because when you are in a situation where the children must keep still and quite simply start up this app and they will be able to enjoy six different categories to keep them busy as they learn.
This app has six different categories in three different styles of learning games and they are as follows:
A thru Z Section:
First you will find the top four categories are called the A thru Z categories in the titles of “Animals, Things, People and Places.” When you open one of these categories you will find an item for each letter of the alphabet and they are all played the same way. They are photos of animals, things, people and places in an A thru Z order. You first look at the photo and guess what the animal, thing, person or place may be. Once you have your guess touch the “Answer” button and a pop-up window will show the answer and some information about the animal, thing, person or place. You will find the categories (animals, things, people and places) start off easy, but as you progress the answers (questions) will get harder. For example when you look at the “animals” categories you are looking for the name of that animal. When you look at the “things” categories it is the same way. When you look at people it could be the person, what they do or who they are. The “places” categories could be the place, country or the building.
U.S. States Section:
The “U.S. States” are played by looking at each state page to see if you can figure out the name of that state. Once you have an answer touch the answer button to see if you are correct. A pop-up window will open to give you the answer and instruction to touch the blue folder to get information, fun facts and an image of the state’s flag. This will teach (while having fun) all 50 state capitals, date they joined the union, 7 really cool facts about the state, the state nickname, where the state got its name and much more!
Fun Sounds Section:
The “Fun Sounds” category was included for fun and entertainment. You have 10 pages with 4 different sounds on each page for a total of 40 different fun sounds. Sounds such as a dog bark, sea gulls, sea lion bark, clown horn, fire alarm, doorbell, sheep, drums, and many, many more! Note: the iPod will need headphones to hear the sounds and we recommend using headphones on the iPhone in busy, crowded or inappropriate places.
All instructions on all sections are given within the app.
Before the price goes up, get yours today and the next time your child (children) needs something to keep them occupied you will be ready without any guilt because you know they are learning while having fun!
What's new
The instructions on the “How To Play” section were incorrect. It stated to touch the “How To Play” banner/button to go back to the How to Play page. It was to read “Touch the Blue Go Back Button below to go back to the How to Play page. This has been repaired. Sorry for the confusion.
