GreenMachine

GreenMachine let’s you sort and remove all sorts of recyclables out of your iPhone or iPod Touch: metal containers, radioactive waste, aluminum cans and even the green goo. As the result not only is your machine cleaner, your mind is too. The day has passed, you have missed your assignments, your thumbs are sore, but your mind is clear and you feel wonderfully relaxed.

If your GreenMachine therapy session is interrupted by annoyances like a phone-call, food or sleep, stay assured that you can always return back to the same spot and continue where you left. GreenMachine comes with its own relaxing rhythmic sound or you can listen to real music or whatever else you have.

GreenMachine is a simple game. It is a cross between Tetris and Bejewled. There is a pile of pieces circling around you and you have two trapdoors underneath where you can collect the pieces. The rule is that the pieces collected together have to be of the same kind. When you collect four pieces they are thrown out of the machine and your trap is ready for four more pieces. If a trap has one or more pieces of one kind and you drop in a piece of a different kind then the pieces that were there before are flushed back into the circling pile. Did we mentioned that the game could be slightly addictive?

There are two game modes:
Unlimited and
Time Trial

Each of the modes has three levels of difficulty. Levels have different pile-speeds and the sizes of pile.

Unlimited Mode

To quote our favorite song, “Our work is never over!”. New pieces keep falling to the pile every few seconds. Even worse, each time you replace pieces in a trap with a different kind not only are the replaced pieces thrown back to the pile, but the same number of new pieces are added. You can stop the pile from growing by collecting pieces of a the same kind faster than the new ones are added. And each time you collect and remove four pieces of a kind you get points added to your score. Different kinds have different values. Game is over when there is no more space to add a new piece.

Time Trial

You are given a load, no new pieces are added during the game. Your goal is to remove all the pieces as fast as you can. To beat the clock you need to have a good strategy and some multi-thumb-tasking.

What's new

Game now starts in Time Trial mode. In Time Trial mode the score now shows time in minutes and seconds and, if it really, really has to, in hours. The background of the machine is much lighter, as requested by The Green Machinistas Union


Please note that tapping in the middle of the screen will pause the game.
