For those of you that see this application for the first time, let me tell you that Hanto is a family of strategy boardgames that will really put your wits to the test!
All rule sets are based on a common idea: surround your opponent's Butterfly piece before he surrounds yours. Think of a Butterfly like a King in Chess that is captured when it has pieces all around it.
In your turn you can either put a new piece in the board or move one of your existing ones. New pieces can only enter in contact with your own pieces.
You have a limited quantity of pieces, and they all move differently, so you have to think very carefully your move in order to use them wisely and outsmart your opponent!
Finally, but most important of all: all pieces in the game should make one big group at all times, regardless of their owner. This rule can be used at your advantage to "block" your enemy's pieces and prevent them from moving.
Rule sets vary the amount of pieces both players have and the way they move.
You can play against the different Artificial Intelligence levels or a friend in hot-seat.

What's new
- New feature: auto-save! Now you can continue your previous game if you exit the application or get a phone call. A badge will be displayed on the App's icon if there is an unfinished game.
- The AI speed for harder levels has been greatly improved.
- Playing different sets is easier now:
- Clicking on an enemy creature will show its possible movements on the board.
- Movement destinations that end on a creature will show different icons, reflecting whether if the current creature will trap it, swap it or perform a kamikaze attack on it.
- Reduced the download size for the whole package.
